Annie Hess (Digital Editor)
My name is Andrea Hess and I will be a junior at Michigan State University studying Human Biology through the Lyman Briggs College. Upon graduating Michigan State, I plan to attend medical school and pursue a career as an obstetrician/gynecologist. Throughout these past two years, I have loved my experience through Lyman Briggs, and I am very thankful for all the opportunities it offers me. This study abroad experience in Paris is something I will cherish, and I am so grateful to have been chosen to attend. My role during this program as the digital editor is to master the digital editing of our film, and ensure our final project is wonderful!
Erin Miller (Cinematographer)
I am a Human Biology major through Michigan State University's Lyman Briggs College. I am minoring in Health Promotion and Bioethics, Humanities, and Society. After completion of my undergraduate degree, I plan to attend a College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue a career in Holistic Medicine. I work at Michigan State University doing research, and I also am a Learning Assistant for the Lyman Briggs College chemistry labs. I am very passionate about coffee, learning languages, healthy eating, and traveling. The 2015 Lyman Briggs study abroad to Paris allowed me to incorporate all of passions into a learning experience in a beautiful city I have always wanted to visit. As cinematographer, my major roles in the project included recording videos and audio, taking pictures, editing the trailer and film, and analyzing data.
Jessica Mizzi (Director)
After completing this LB 492 course, I will have completed my degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University. This fall, I will be moving to California to work as a research and teaching aide at UC Davis in a bioinformatics lab. I plan to apply to bioinformatics PhD programs this fall, and anticipate starting a graduate program next year. I enjoy studying languages as a hobby, including French! As the director of this film, I oversee the storyboard of the film.
Rachel Barton (MoOF and Digital Guru)
My name is Rachel Barton and I will be a senior at Michigan State University studying Human Biology and Health Promotion through Lyman Briggs College. After graduation, I anticipate on pursuing a career in either Physician Assistant studies or in Health Care Administration. I was very excited when I heard about Lyman Briggs offering this study abroad program because it would allow me to complete my senior seminar course, as well as practice my French in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. My role throughout the program was to assist in collecting data for our film and create the website which would illustrate our research.
